June Unplugged!
Coffee n Chat
Ready to recharge and connect with your fellow creatives? The June Unplugged! event will feature coffee and conversation at the Design Innovation Institute (Dii) in Mission Hills. This series is a departure from expert presentations and formal settings; this is your chance to simply show up, sip your favorite brew, and engage in meaningful conversation with a supportive community of design professionals.
We'll be gathering to tackle a thought-provoking discussion prompt, all while enjoying our morning beverages. To ensure we have enough seating for everyone, advance registration is required, so please secure your spot! And don't forget to bring your own coffee, tea, or preferred beverage. This is a chance to unplug from the daily grind and plug into some great company and authentic conversation.
For this "Unplugged!" session, we'll be diving into a topic that many of us face, but perhaps don't always get to openly discuss. As creatives, we're constantly balancing our artistic integrity with the practical demands of the market and the final say of executives. How do you maintain your creative integrity and the impactful essence of your work when faced with commercial pressures or directives that might compromise your original vision? Share your experiences, from subtle shifts to major overhauls, and how you find ways to keep your work meaningful in a profit-driven world.
Let's brew some solutions together, sharing our experiences and insights on how we approach and overcome those tricky obstacles. Get ready to stir up some fresh perspectives and percolate new ideas!
About the location:
